Crime Watch & Safety
- Every homeowner is a member of the Crime Watch committee. If you see a stranger walking in the neighborhood, ask them what is their purpose and tell them that you're with Crime Watch.
- If you see a neighbor's garage door open, text or call them.
- Install motion detectors in front yard area.
- Security cameras (ring) added to front door area and in back of homes backing up to alleys.
- Don't announce when you are leaving town on social media.
- Install fire & carbon monoxide detectors. The fire department will install 10 year lithium batteries, but don't wait till they start chirping. It takes 3-4 weeks to get an appointment. Call 214 670-7016
- Have a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and/or garage. Ensure gage is in green.
- Dryer vents going to attic should be professionally cleaned annually to prevent fires. Also kitchen stove vents.
Safety
- Be careful when exiting the front gate. We immediately have a STOP 🛑 sign at the exit. Cars quickly cross from both business parking lots. If an accident happens, it will be your fault if you did not STOP.
- Be cautious to not make wide turns when entering or exiting at the bend in Cambridge Gate Drive. You may meet some neighbors! 🚘😱

Safe additional parking available for two cars is located on rock bed just past the stop sign to the right at the auxiliary/back gate
